These Bees are open to all members of the Smoky Mountain Quilt Guild:

BOM Bee –   Meets 10am the first THURSDAY  of every month at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 749 NC 107, Sylva, NC 28779. Come work on ANY Block Of the Month (or week or day). Anyone who would like to sew with a group of people and work on their block of the month project is welcome to join. Bring your Sewing machine and tools.  Please bring your lunch and a drink.  Contact Mary Ann Budahl for more information.

DIY Bee – DESIGN IT YOURSELF Bee…former Medallion Bee renamed to reflect their expanded purpose. Members give their suggestions and ideas to your design problem, and you deside how to proceed with designing your own quilt.   For help and to learn some other ideas, jump right in at any time.   Bring your quilt design project at any stage of development, possible fabrics, your lunch and a drink.  Sewing machine not needed. Normally meets 10 AM the fourth Monday of every month at the First Presbyterian Church, 26 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.   Contact Nancilee Dills or Norma Christopher for more information.

Quilts of Valor  Meets 10am to 3pm the last Wednesday of every month at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 749 NC 107, Sylva, NC 28779.  Bring your Sewing machine and tools, your lunch and a drink.  Contact Carlie Nichols for more information.

RAG Bee  RAG is an applique focused group meeting the second Friday of each month at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 749 NC 107, Sylva, NC 28779.  We meet around 10 am and leave around 3 pm, and hosting is done by the members, but of course anything delicious is always welcomed.  Contact Nancy Shay for more information.
