A Note from Cindy:
A couple of you have asked about acceptable fabrics for the red and white display at next year’s Quilt and Fiber Celebration. So here’s the scoop: Reds may be any SHADE (not TINT) of red, from clear and bright to burgundy and any shade in between. Think barn red, turkey red, bright red, dark red etc. Red prints with white motifs are acceptable as long as they are mostly red, see the photo below.
White means white, cream, snow, natural, winter white (no tan, beige, gray, etc.) and may include red motifs as long as the fabric is mostly the light color. In other words – as long as the quilt READS as red and white.
We will be posting photos from time to time for inspiration. And I am always available to help with the math if you find a photo of a quilt you want to do but have no pattern.
This is going to be so much fun!! ~ Cindy
