June
Saturday, 4th • Patchwork Festival in Cullowhee.
Friday, 24th & Saturday, 25th • Airing of the Quilts, sponsored by SMQG and The Tuesday Quilters. Jackson County Library/Historic Courthouse. Quilt show, luncheon & fashion show. Contact Mary Ann Budahl or Laura Nelle Goebel for more info.
July
Saturday, 16th • Franklin Heritage Days. We will be hand quilting and doing Make & Takes. We will have a table to sell our cookbooks and scholarship tickets and to represent guild activities. On display will be the worlds largest quilt, the worlds largest wall-hanging and an autographed quilt raffled by Macon Crafts in the 1980's. Location will either be downtown Franklin or at the Macon County Community Building on 441 (the rec center).
September
Monday, 12th - Saturday, 17th • Macon County Fair. We will be demonstrating hand quilting and we will have a booth representing the guild, selling cookbooks and tickets for the current Opportunity Quilt.
October
Saturday, 29th • Macon County Pumpkin Fest in downtown Franklin, NC. We will have a booth representing the guild, selling cookbooks and tickets for the current Opportunity Quilt. We will draw the winner for the quilt at the end of that day.
